Tall Oil Fatty Acids (TOFA) are obtained in the process of vacuum distillation of crude tall oil.
TOFA cnsists of a mixture of unsaturated acids including linolenic, linoleic and others. Besides, the mixture contains 2% of unsaponifiable materials and up to 2% resin acids.
We supply TOFA produced according to the National Standard (GOST) 14845-79.
Fatty acids are widely used in paint and vanish industry to produce alkyd resins, and in chemical industry to obtain esters, dimers, amides, and other products.
